LAHORE : National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has prepared the list of 82 witnesses in Stock Exchange fraud case.
The list of witnesses, presented by NAB includes SECP, Stock Exchange, Banking experts, affectees and NAB officials.
According to NAB reference, fraud was committed of more than Rs 40 million with 75 persons, in the name of investment in Stock Exchange. The suspect was running illegal business in Pakistan and trapped the affected persons.
According to NAB, the suspect offered the persons to give 10 percent profit on the investment of Rs 0.1 million. After which a complainant gave Rs 1 million to the suspect, but didn’t receive anything in return.
The reference stated that the complainants didn’t even receive their invested money till now.
According to the NAB prosecutor, Haris Qureshi, the suspect committed fraud with more than 400 persons. But only 74 persons have contacted the NAB.
Solid evidence is available against the suspect and he can’t escape from the grip of law.
