Police station Hoti, Station House Officer Inspector Abdus Sajid Khan on Sunday said that it is not possible to control crimes without the cooperation of the public. Street crime has been controlled to the extent possible.
The root of all crimes is the use of drugs. He expressed these views while talking to the media. He added that only thirty-one officers are available to control the population of more than 2 lakhs. He said that most of the area of Hoti police station consists of densely populated areas and business centers, which are making every possible effort to keep them under control.
He said that to control the population of 2 lakh and fifty thousand, there are thirty-one personnel available, including cooks and hairdressers, which is insufficient, but despite this, we have controlled the street crime as much as possible compared to other police stations, and the rate of crime within the limits of our police station is very low.
He said that the root of all crimes is drug use and our best effort is to uproot the roots of drug dealers. He said that last month we took action against about 66 drug dealers and sent them to jail. He added that we got the mobile phone with a lot of hard work and dedication Police and pickpockets have been caught, but at the right time, the prosecutors refuse to take action against them, which increases the morale of crime professionals.
He said that it isn’t possible to control street crime and drug dealers without the cooperation of the public. No, if the people cooperate, the area will be cleared of all crimes.
