PESHAWAR: The alleged suicide case of a woman in Badhaber area here has taken a twist after police on Sunday revealed that it was actually a murder. The victim’s husband has been arrested for allegedly killing the woman and attempting to present the incident as a suicide. Badhaber police have arrested the suspect, identified as Salman, son of Khairullah Jan, a resident of Phandu Bala. He is accused of shooting his wife dead following a domestic dispute and then trying to portray the crime as suicide. The case was registered on March 2, 2026, after the victim’s father, Nadir Khan, filed a report with the police. Following the registration of the case, authorities launched an investigation to uncover the facts. Police officials stated that after a detailed inquiry and investigation, the suspect was traced and arrested within a short time. Further investigation is currently underway. APP
