A delegation of Tangeer (Diamer) and Darail Districts led by GB Minister for Excise and Taxation Haider Khan called on Force Commander Gilgit Bilitistan Major General Ihsan Mehmud here at FCNA Headquarters on Thursday.
Chief Secretary GB Captain (R) Agha Khurram, Secretary Forest, Deputy Commissioner Diamer were present on the occasion.
The delegates informed the Force Commander about problems facing the timber traders in transportation of timber. They called for settlement of the problem through legal means.
The Chief Secretary on this occasion directed the administration not to block the main Karakorum Highway asit created problems for the commuters. He said that the local community would be provided all support and assistance by the administration.
