The Police of Tank on Tuesday held a peac walk in connection with ‘Police Marty Day’ to be held officially on August 4.
According to a handout, a peace walk was conducted by the Tank Police from the Police Office Tank to the District Press Club Tank.
District Police Officer Tank Waqar Ahmed, DSP Headquarters Inam Khan Gandapur, DSP Rural Hussain Ghulam Bangash and SHO Police Station Shaheed Mureed Akbar Gul Wali Khan along with other Tank Police officers participated in the walk.
The walk was also attended by the representatives of the civil society and media.
On this occasion, tributes were paid to the eternal sacrifices of police martyrs in golden words.
At the end of the walk, a special prayer was offered for raising the rank of police martyrs, survival of the Muslim Ummah, elimination of crimes, national security, prosperity and establishment of permanent peace and order.
