PESHAWAR: A delegation of the Oil Tanker Union called on the Capital Traffic Officer (CTO) at his office here on Tuesday. The delegation, led by All Pakistan Oil Tanker Association president Haji Ehsan Ali, discussed matters related to non-release of oil tankers on different routes of the provincial metropolis during daytimes. CTO Peshawar Qamar Hayat Khan said that traffic police are fully aware of the problems of the takers association and all possible measures would be taken to facilitate their business activities. He said that City Traffic Police have imposed a ban over the entrance of oil tankers and other heavy vehicles to Peshawar in daytime due to heavy traffic issues. Mr Hayat said that traffic police are trying to provide maximum facilities to heavy vehicles on different routes of the provincial capital. He said that all genuine demands of the tanker oil union would be resolved on priority basis. Crime Reporter
