KARACHI: Provincial Minister for Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department Mukesh Kumar Chawla, while giving details of tax collection in the current financial year, has said that these details are due from July 2021 to May 2022 and so far in the current financial year, a total tax of Rs. 91439.183 million has been collected. He further said that Rs. 30164.488 million tax was collected in the same period of last financial year. According to the details, Rs 1880.768 million in property tax, Rs 10879.020 million in motor vehicle tax, Rs 102692.682 million in infrastructure cess, Rs 130.439 million in cotton fee and Rs 45.448 million in entertainment duty and Rs. 788.993 millions in professional tax had been collected.
