Tanzeeme Asateza(teachers association),Landi Kotal chapter distributed 140 winter packages among orphans and poor girl students of state-run primary schools of sub-division Landi Kotal last day.
In this connection, simple but impressive gatherings were organized separately in state run schools that were attended by school teachers, female students and office bearers of the organization.
The package consisted of sweaters, shoes and other hosiery items for children.
Chief of the teacher association Sharifullah Afridi was the chief guest on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion Shariefullah Afridi said that children were a ray of hope for the bright future however poverty and inflation deprived them of their legal right of getting education that was injustice to them.
Due to lack of income sources of their parents, the children were compelled on child labor, he remarked.
He added that with meager contributions from the rich ones could change the fate of these deserving kids and they could become useful citizens of the society.
He urged the philanthropists to come forward and support such organizations who care for the orphans and the deserving students.
At the end the chief guest gave away 140 winter packages to deserving orphans girl students of various government primary schools of Landi Kotal.
