PESHAWAR: A technical survey of 562 schools across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has revealed concerning findings, with 346 school buildings declared unsafe, according to an official report received on Tuesday. The report stated that more than 61 percent of the surveyed school buildings were found to be unsafe. Meanwhile, 167 schools were declared partially safe, while only 49 were classified as safe. Following the Dir Colony tragedy, authorities accelerated the process of assessing the structural safety of school buildings across the province. The survey findings have raised serious concerns about the safety of students and teachers in educational institutions across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. APP
