Technology to curb human interference in electoral process: Shibli

Federal Minister for Science and technology Shibli Faraz has said that more than three percent of registered votes get rejected in elections, and we have introduced technology to minimize human interference in electoral process.
Talking to media on Wednesday, the minister said that Electronic Voting Machine has been established as per the standards of ECP, adding that machine consists of three units and it works without an internet and Bluetooth connection.
The minister said that EVM cannot be hacked. Elections get scandalized every time and technology would reduce complexions.
Shibli Faraz said that government is determined to use technology in coming general elections. Use of money and power has become a culture here, and keeping all aspects in view, government is willing to use technology in electoral process, he added.
