Hangu, 15th August – Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) Hangu is proud to unveil the E-TMA app, a groundbreaking digital initiative that underscores our commitment to elevating citizen services through technological innovation. The launch event held at the DC Office Hangu saw Deputy Commissioner Hangu, Fazal Akbar, highlight the app’s role in establishing a transparent and efficient governance system tailored to citizen needs.
In collaboration with the FCDO-funded Sub-National Governance (SNG) Programme, TMA Hangu proudly announces the official launch of the E-TMA app. This pioneering digital solution, developed in partnership with the Local Government, Elections, and Rural Development (LGERD) KP, represents a significant stride towards a digitally empowered and citizen-centric society.
Notably, the E-TMA app’s pilot project was first successfully introduced in Swabi district. Building upon this success, TMA Hangu’s collaboration with SNG Programme takes the initiative to the next level. The app is poised to revolutionise access to municipal services, offering convenience, transparency, and efficiency to residents and businesses alike.
The E-TMA app is designed to simplify the process of accessing municipal services by providing a seamless digital platform for various service applications. With the aim of reducing physical visits to government offices and bureaucratic obstacles, citizens can now effortlessly submit applications from the comfort of their homes. The app introduces a Real-time Progress Tracking feature, enabling users to monitor the status of their service requests, fostering transparency and accountability. The user-friendly interface ensures accessibility for all members of the community.
The official inauguration of the E-TMA app took place in the presence of distinguished public officials, local government representatives, business community leaders, and civil society advocates. This event, jointly organized by TMA Hangu and SNG Programme, underscores the dedication to advancing digitalization in the region.
