The temperature in Dera has reached 45 degrees Celsius in the second week of April, similar to June.
According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature will be 45 degrees Celsius while the minimum will be 24 degrees Celsius. Medical experts have advised the citizens to use sunglasses and umbrellas. Protect yourself from the heat, don’t let children get dehydrated, and keep your head covered when you go out, a doctor said when contacted.
In the same way, in case of extreme heat and heatwave, take care of dumb animals and innocent birds. Keep water containers on the roofs.
Medical experts said that fasting in extreme heat can cause dehydration in the body. The use of water in Sahar and Iftar should be increased. Also, drink plenty of water or fruit juices, and be sure to include milk and yogurt in your diet, the doctor while advising the citizens said.
