It is very sad to realize that the condition of hospitals and in particular the health care in our country Pakistan is very bad, This is a truth and needs to be acknowledged and accepted if we are to progress as a society and as a country.
We are one of the biggest countries in terms of population but unfortunately our healthcare is terrible, the worst part is that people living in tribal areas have to cross mountains to reach a hospital.
In the rural areas there is little or no health care for the people and they suffer greatly in every way possible. We must also ask the United Nations to help us in this urgent manner.
We are more interested in other issues while we are ignoring such a big issue concerning our country which is that of health care. and as a matter of fact the doctors and people who work in hospitals are only interested in making money and getting rich and have no interest in the well being of the person or the patient and are just interested in their own selfish motives and pleasures.
This is a very sad and bad situation and needs to change if we are to progress as a society. They have outdated equipment and they are not up to date with the developments in the medicine of the 21st century which is sad and cause for alarm.
The authorities’ concerned must look into the matter and make sure and ensure that this does not happen and that the people are given proper and good health care so that they dont have to suffer like this. The world is progressing but our country Pakistan is still stuck in the stone age. and as a matter of fact the situation is even worse in rural parts of the countries where there is little or no health care at all. There is a shortage of nurses and doctors and the hospitals are overcrowded.
This is just not restricted to the rural areas and in fact the situation is also horrible in major cities such as Lahore and Karachi for that matter. Health care is the most important and essential thing for a country to progress and that too we are unable to provide to our people which is sad and is a pity. we must not let our people down and provide people with good health care so that the poor and helpless do not have to suffer like this The health care system of Pakistan is terrible. People are desperate due to poverty and unemployment. Apart from that very little money from the GDP is allocated to health care despite it being such a big and major issue, and according to reports over 60% of hospitals lack proper health care. Now this is just terrible and something to cry about.
We must not fail our people and provide them with good health care so that the poor and vulnerable do not have to suffer endlessly like this and in this manner. we can spend a lot of money on trivial things but not on basic needs of the people such as health care, It really is a shame. our hospitals and the doctors are not up to date with the latest developments in medicine, and I heard that some hospitals evern lack medicine for a headache like a panadol or something like that. Some children suffer from polio and other such diseases.
The worst part is that most of the people have to pay from their own pockets for health care and that includes even the poor people. There are also not enough doctors for patients. Now if you go to any hospital in Pakistan, you will see for yourself what a terrible condition they are in and especially the horrible smell and the condition of the innocent patients who have to suffer like this with no fault of their own. We should wake up as a nation and provide quality healthcare to all our people for free, especially for the poor people.
