ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Koral police station has traced a shop theft incident in 24 hours and arrested the accused, a police spokesman said. He said that, following the orders of IGP Islamabad Muhammad Ahsan Youans massive crackdown against criminals is on full swing in the city. Following the orders, a police team of Koral police station headed by SHO Koral Muhammad Azeem Minhas with other officials has traced and arrested an accused namely Muhammad Tanveer involved in theft in shop situated at Ghauri Town. Police team has also recovered stolen money worth Rs. 960,000 from the accused. A case FIR No. 919/22 has been registered against the accused in PS Koral. SSP Islamabad has appreciated the police performance and further directed to intensify the security in the city and arrest the criminals at large. He said that safety and security of the citizens is our top priority and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard. DNA
