Third All-Pakistan Football Tournament enters quarterfinal

The third All Pakistan Young Mughal Football Tournament has entered the quarter-final at the FC Scouts Ground in Wana, South Waziristan.
Chashma Green Miranshah Club won the quarter final match and qualified for the semi final. The Chief guests of the match were Engineer Kaleem Ullah Wazir and General Secretary of the tournament Jalal Din Wazir.
A total of 42 eminent football teams from across the country are participating in the tournament, including 16 non-local and 26 local teams.
The tournament started on May 26 at the South Waziristan Scouts Wana Ground, which has now entered the quarter-final.
The first match of the quarter final was played between Chashma Green Miranshah and Toofan Club Tank which ended in a draw with two goals till the final.
The umpire decided a penalty shootout between the two teams
In which Chashma Green Miranshah Club defeated Toofan Club Tank and won the quarter final.
Wana’s famous player Abdul Khaliq Wazir who was present on the occasion said, that living society is incomplete without health, exercise grounds have to be populated for health,
After a long time in Waziristan, the establishment of these tournaments and sports grounds is a sign of good health and good society of the people here.
He added that it was a sign of peace in the area where the sports activities took place.
Therefore, the government should take practical steps to provide all facilities to the players so that the youth can be encouraged in sports.
