Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar has said that investigation into the tragic incident that took place in Murree in recent days has been started and those responsible will not be able to escape punishment.
Talking to media in Lahore, Usman Bazdar said that indiscriminate action would be taken against those responsible for negligence.
He said that in the light of the investigation report, strict action would be taken against any officer who was found guilty and those responsible would not be able to escape punishment.
The Punjab Chief Minister said that short term and long term planning was being done to prevent such incidents and in this regard SOPs were also being reviewed.
Earlier, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar said in a statement that a committee headed by Additional Chief Secretary Home has been constituted to inquire into the Murree incident.
