Three terrorists killed in encounter with police, CTD

The Law enforcement agencies in intelligence-based operation killed three terrorists in Urmar area of the provincial capital.
According to Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) sources, the terrorists were killed during an exchange of fire took place in the limits of Urmor Police Station.
The terrorists had taken refuge in a house when police and CTD started operation against them.
CTD sources claimed that the terrorists killed in the operation were identified as Khalid, Danyal, and Hussan Shah.
CTD sources informed that those who killed in the operation were connected with a terrorist network involved in Kocha-e-Risaldar blast, target killing of ASI Noman Khan, ASI Imtiaz Khan, targeted killing of traffic warden and attack on Jalozai mobile van.
It further said that the slain terrorists were also connected with a terrorist network in Afghanistan and were also involved in the targeted killing of minority community members in Peshawar including Satnam Singh and Pastor William Siraj.
During the operation some of the terrorists also managed to escape after exchanging fire with police.
CTD sources further said that large contingents of CTD and local police have reached to the spot and launched a search operations to arrest the remaining members of the terrorists.
