PESHAWAR: The Mazdoor Ittehad has announced a protest if salaries and pensions of the Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) Badaber employees were not paid by July 10. An emergency meeting of the union was convened on Monday under the chairmanship of Qaiser Bacha. President Shahid Mughal, Sahibzada Badar Munir, Tariq Jamal, Haji Hanif Khan, Khan Raziq, Asad Ali Shah, Faisal Nadeem, Hilal Khan, Karamat Shah, Zeeshan Taslim, Ghaffar Ali and other office-bearers were present. Participants expressed deep concern over the continued non-payment of salaries and pensions, which have not been released despite the passing of July 7. Chairman Qaiser Bacha said it was unacceptable that poor employees were left without pay during this era of record inflation. He warned that if payments were not cleared by July 10, workers would launch a strong protest, and the responsibility would lie with the concerned authorities. DLP Report
