Chief Traffic Officer Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat on Friday visited Khyber Road to inspect traffic management and directed the traffic wardens for further improvement.
He was accompanied by SP Cantt Khan Khel, DSP Khyber Road Dost Muhammad and other traffic officials during the visit.
Abbas Majeed reviewed the ongoing works at different localities of the provincial capital and also issued necessary instructions to the concerned authorities.
Chief Traffic Officer issued orders to SP Cantt Khan Khel and DSP Khyber Road Dost Mohammad to provide transport facilities to the citizens during the ongoing development.
Improvements are being made which will provide travel facilities to the citizens in Peshawar, he added.
Abbas Majeed directed the traffic authorities to continue their operations against the encroaching mafia and take stern action against the violators of the no parking zone as per law.
