Chief Traffic Officer Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat has directed concerned authorities to repair the center median on Ring Road immediately.
Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat on Saturday visited various localities to inspect the traffic flow and management in the provincial capital. places.
He was accompanied by SP City and other traffic officials on the occasion.
Chief Traffic Officer reviewed the flow of traffic during the visit and issued directives so that the citizens do not face any difficulties.
He directed the bargaining owners to buy and sell vehicles within their limits and not to set any encroachments while instructing the traffic authorities to take stern action against the violators in accordance with the law.
Mr Abbad directed the traffic authorities to ensure uninterrupted flow of traffic on the ring road while not allowing heavy vehicles to enter the city before the stipulated time.
The traffic authorities should keep a close watch on the violators of one-way on Ring Road so that traffic accidents would not happen while strict action would be taken against the violators as per law and no leniency would be shown to anyone in this regard he added.
He said that citizens should respect the traffic rules and make the journey safe so that no accident would take place.
He said that the city traffic police would use all its capabilities to ensure the flow of traffic in the city of Peshawar and ensure implementation of traffic rules.
