Traffic education team organizes awareness seminar


On the directions of Chief Traffic Officers, Abbas Majeed Marwat, DSP MLA Anila Naz and education team on Wednesday organized an awareness seminar at Superior Group of Colleges.
During the seminar, education team give presentation over traffic rules and regulations, adding that safe driving on the roads necessary for life.
In Superior Group of Colleges, learners were issued to teachers and students through DL van under the supervision of DSP MLA Anila Naz while licenses were issued to those who passed the test on the spot.
The awareness seminar was attended by a large number of teachers, students and others.
During the seminar, DSP MLA Anila Naz and her team informed the students about the driving principles and precautions including road safety, zebra cross, use and benefits of seat belts and helmets.
Abbas Majeed Marwat urged the masses and those use roads in the provincial capital that use of seat belts and helmets during the traveling could prevent accidents and loss of life.
He said that the city traffic police visits different institutions at different times and informs the students about the traffic rules so as to reduce the number of traffic accidents and save the lives of the citizens.
“Always fasten seat belts and take care of line discipline and other vehicles while driving and avoid using mobile phones while driving,” he said.
Traffic chief said that accidents can be controlled only by enforcing traffic rules.
Organized traffic is a reflection of any civilized society while professional training is the key to better cope with any situation, he said.
