Traffic Police chief orders operations against encroachment mafia

Chief Traffic Officer Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat has directed the traffic authorities and officials to ensure strict implementation of ongoing campaigns including ensuring uninterrupted flow of traffic in all sectors of the city.
He made these remarks while chairing a meeting which was attended by officers and traffic wardens including SP Cantt Traffic Khan Khel, SP City Traffic Muhammad Saeed, DSPs participated.
Chief Traffic Officer Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat reviewed of the operations carried by the City Traffic Police Peshawar last week.
On this occasion, Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat was briefed about the operations carried out in the city.
He expressed satisfaction over the traffic police operations and directed the traffic wardens and officials to stop motorcyclists driving without helmets, seat belts, use of tinted windows, overloading, driving without pressure horns and seat belts, violating the no parking zone.
He ordered strict legal actions against the perpetrators and those who do not set up parking zones in plazas in University Road, Saddar and other commercial centers and no leniency should be shown to anyone in this regard.
Traffic Chief was informed that a number of actions have been taken during the last two weeks against the encroachment mafia and encroachments from the bazaars have been eliminated while personnel have been deployed for check and balance.
