Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Qamar Hayat Khan distributed certificates of appreciation and cash to the officials for their good performance.
Addressing the ceremony, traffic police chief said that City Traffic Police Peshawar should perform their duties by following the policy of first salam then kalam.
He said that traffic authorities and officials should use all capabilities to ensure enforcement of traffic rules.
“All the officers and officials should play their role with full effort to raise awareness about traffic flow and road safety among the citizens” he added and said that accountability process will continue, those who show better performance will be encouraged, disciplinary action will be taken against those who are negligent.
Qamar Hayat Khan authorities should continue the uninterrupted operation against those who park vehicles in no parking zones in city.
Mr Khan also hinted at dpartmental action will be taken against those who show negligence.
