Trans Peshawar holds cycle rally for citizens

A cycle rally was held under the auspices of Trans Peshawar to promote awareness about Zu bicycle service and highlight the benefits of cycling among the citizens here on Friday.
Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Information Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif was the chief guest who inaugurated the rally which was held in Hayatabad Phase 6. The event was also attended by students, social organizations including CEO Trans Peshawar and Bank of Khyber.
Speaking on the occasion, he congratulated the management of the Trans Peshawar for organizing this wonderful cycling rally, adding it was an undoubtedly positive and environmentally friendly event which helped attract the youth towards healthy activities.
He hoped that such positive activities like cycle rallies would also be held in parts of Peshawar for building healthy personality development of the youth who were considered as future leaders of the nation.
Participants expressing their views said that holding a cycle rally was a very good initiative and it was very important for the youth to take part in such an environmentally friendly and positive activity.
A student said that Zu Bicycle was a very cheap and affordable commuting service to get around and timely reach destinations.
Trans Peshawar’s spokesperson said more such bicycle rallies will be held in different parts of the city in future to promote healthy activities among the youth.
