Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has said that Transparency and merit are the top priority of the government, adding that the government has purged the institutions of political interference to strengthen Pakistan in all sectors.
While talking to Postmaster General Punjab Khawaja Imran Raza, Governor Punjab said that all possible steps should be taken to further improve the performance of Pakistan Post for the provision of public service and also to ensure transparency in the institution. PTI government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, was ensuring reforms in all departments, as well as steps, are being taken to strengthen them.
He said that it is the first government in the history of Pakistan that has ensured no political interference in any department, and the institutions are being allowed to work with complete freedom, therefore, the institutions also have the responsibility to provide maximum facilities to the people.
Postmaster General Punjab Khawaja Imran Raza said that Pakistan Post is fully prepared to take up this challenge, adding that Pakistan Post is all set to transport sellers’ consignments from their doorsteps to Amazon Centre’s.
