KHYBER AGENCY: Assistant Political Agent(APA)Landikotal prior to decision of jirga (council of elders)put his brother in jail as his rival was influential person.The high-ups provide him justice.
These were expressed by Fazal Rahim Shinwari,a resident Landikotal while addressing in press conference held in Landikotal press club on Friday.
He said that for the last eleven years they had a dispute with one,Javed Koki Khel who was demanding usury money from them.The later filed case against them in the office of APA,Landikotal who nominated a jirga to decide the case.However he blamed that the administration top official favored his opponent and before the jirga members come to a decision his elder brother,Adil Zameen was arrested.
The act of the APA,Landikotal not only denied justice but it was also against the jirga essence as the case was in process and tribal tradition,Shinwari lamented.
He further added that although interest base cases were banned to file in the administration office but his rival was powerful person and therefore exemption and special treatment was granted to him.
The opponent has already seized my two vehicles and a banglow in Karachi and now he arrested my brother that is unfair,he argued. He threatened that if his brother was not released and the case was not let to decide by the Jirga,he would knock doors of high officials to get justice.
