The newly elected general councilor from village council 28, the remote area of Bazaar Zakha Khel demanded of the authorities concerned to enroll local educated youths on contract base teachers’ posts scheme, to be deployed through the Parent Teacher Committee (PTC)fund.
Addressing to a press conference here in Landi Kotal press club on Sunday councilor Attaullah Afridi said that beside other negligence, literacy rate in the Bazaar Zakha Khel is very low because of deployment of non-local teachers in their schools who don’t execute their official duties regularly therefore priority should be given to local educated persons.
If the education department posts local youth, they will perform their duties constantly and efficiently and in addition with the local jobless youths will have their employment at their door steps, he remarked.
He maintained that it is an opportunity for the educational department to reform its policy and deploy local teaching staff in the best interest of residents of Bazaar Zakha Khel.
Flanked by Haji Sher and Naveed Afridi, he added that due to prevailed rules, their schools present a deserted look so they appeal to the authorities concerned to address their demand and hire services of local youth to refunctional the educational institutions.
