KHYBER: Rich tribute was paid to the Shaheed traffic soldier of Bara here on last day. It is to be mentioned here that the police soldier, identified as Qowat Khan of Bara subdivision was shot and dead by unknown armed persons at Shalobar Square, on June 20, 2022. On behalf of Inspector General Police (IGP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa(KP),Additional IG welfare Hameed Khan and District Police Officer(DPO)Muhammad Imran presented souvenir and appreciating letter to the brother and a minor son the late police cop. A cheque of financial support was also handed over to the heir of the deceased. DPO paid rich tribute to the Martyred police official and said his name will be written in golden words for his unmatched sacrifice he rendered for the sake of his motherland. He added that the police department will never leave in time of need and will continue every possible support to the family of the deceased. Our Correspondent
