Hyderabad/Thatha: As many as 7 people were killed and 14 were injured in truck-van collision near Jharak in Thatha. According to police a collision between passenger van and truck took place on Hyderabad -Thatha national highway near Jharak leaving 7 people dead and 15 injured. According to Rescue authorities the bodies and injured are being shifted to Jharak and civil hospital Thatha. As per Rescue sources the accident occurred due to overspeeding. Those killed in the accident include 2 women and one baby. Chief secretary Sindh Dr Muhammad Fakhar Alam while seeking report of traffic accident from deputy commissioner Thatha has directed to provide medical treatment to the injured immediately. He has expressed condolence with the family members of the victims.
