Islamic Emirates is providing support to TTP against Pakistan: report
Pentagon report revealed all the secrets that after the American withdrawal, 7.2 billion dollars worth of defense equipment was left in Afghanistan.
Chairman of the US House Committee on Foreign Affairs, Michael McCaul, said that “the Islamic Emirate is helping the TTP to arm itself against Pakistan.”
Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, denied the American statement and called it baseless, however, the American report said that the supply of weapons to the TTP has significantly damaged the security of the region.
Pentagon report also revealed the secret of the TTP’s use of American weapons against Pakistan. After the American withdrawal on August 30, 2021, $7.12 billion worth of defense equipment remained in Afghanistan. provided 427,300 weapons of war, of which 300,000 remained at the time of withdrawal, after the American withdrawal, these weapons came under the control of the Islamic Emirate and later ended up in the hands of anti-Pakistani groups,
US arms have militarily strengthened the TTP and Baloch separatist groups, thus the region has seen a massive increase in terrorism over the past two years.
United States provided $18.6 billion in equipment to the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces between 2005 and August 2021.
Due to this open waiver by the Islamic Emirate, the TTP received modern weapons, including modern weapons such as the M24 sniper rifle, M4 carbines and M16A4. These weapons helped the TTP to carry out operations across the border
A video released by the TTP in August 2022 shows M24 sniper rifles, M16A4 rifles equipped with thermal scopes, M4 carbines with Trijicon ACOG scopes, DShKM heavy machine guns, and T-15mm heavy 5mm launchers. Through these weapons, TTP carried out terrorist activities in Peshawar, Lucky Marwat, Bannu, and Dera Ismail Khan and targeted police personnel.
A total of 118 police personnel were killed in terrorist incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in 2022. In the first four months of 2023, 120 police personnel were victims of TTP.
Baloch Liberation Army also attacked FC camps in Nushki and Panjgur districts in February 2022 using the same weapons.TTP also used American weapons in the attack on Doop Geriran on 12 July 2023.
Prior to this incident, on May 16, 2023, the TTP shared some photos showing TTP training terrorists. All these facts point to the fact that the Islamic Emirate is not only arming the TTP but also providing safe passage to other terrorist organizations.
