Hanif Khan Hockey Club defeated DonBosko Hockey Club by 4-0 while Police Boys HC beat Al Sagheer by 2-0 in the ongoing KHA Ramadan Inter Club Hockey Championship here at the Olympian Hanif Khan and Dr Junaid Ali Shah Sports Complex Gulshan Iqbal.The tournament is being organized by Karachi Hockey Association.
In the first match Hanif Khan Hockey Club secured a convincing 4-0 victory over DonBosko Hockey Club. The goal scorers for Hanif Khan were Imran (7th minute)Babar (2 goals, 15th and 16th minutes) and Arsalan Khalid (32nd minute).
In the Second match Police Boys HC defeated Al Sagheer Hockey Club by 2-0.. Scorers were Faheem Khan 3rd minute and Siddique 33rd minute.
The chief guest, Major (Retd.) Shahnawaz, Manager of the Pakistan Hockey Team that won the silver medal at the 5s Asia Cup in Oman in 2023, and Chairman of the Discipline Committee of the Karachi Hockey Association (KHA), graced the occasion.
He met with the teams, encourage and appreciate them that they are enjoying the games with great energy and hockey skills even with fasting in the Holy month of Ramadan. He wish the players and KHA will carry on same spirit through out.
