PESHAWAR: Babrak Miakhel and Gul Zameen Safi on Wednesday successfully defended their PhDs thesis on Pashto Literature at a public defence held in University of Peshawar, and qualified for the award of doctorates degrees. Babrak Miakhel did his research on “Critical review of the prose works of Gul Bacha Ulfat” under the supervision of Dr Hanif Khali, while Gul Zameen Safi completed his research on “Professor Dr Muhammad Iqbal Naseem Khattak’s research and critical review of literary services” under the supervision of Dr Rohullah, Chairman, Department of Pashto, University of Peshawar. The external committee members were Dr Farkhunda Liaqat and Dr Badrul Hakim Hakimzai. Public Defenses of the aforementioned scholars were held in Pashto Department University of Peshawar which was attended by Dr Nasrullah Jan Wazir, Director, Pashto Academy, University of Peshawar, Dr Sher Zaman Simab, Dr Syed Zafarullah Bakhshali, Dr Shakeel Ahmed, Dr Noor Mohammad Danish Betney and a large number of students.
