Two wrongs never make a right: CJP


Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Ata Bandial has remarked two wrongs never make a right.

He further remarked NAB framed case of misuse of powers and fraud. NAB has failed to impress the court. If there is no ban in writing on sale of jet fuel even then its perception is must.

He gave these remarks while presiding over a 3-member bench of SC during the course of hearing of case pertaining to illegal sale of jet fuel of Civil Aviation and armed forces here Thursday.

Justice Sajjad Ali Shah remarked tell the facts to the court as to how selling the companies jet fuel in market is illegal. If sugar price increases in market then NAB takes what action.

Makhdoom Ali Khan counsel for Shell company took the plea only Pakistan state oil and Shell company are authorized to supply jet fuel and kerosene oil. Brig (Retd) Zulfiqar Ali , employee of PSO lodged complained to Col Siraj of NAB Sindh about Shell company. NAB started proceedings on verbal complaint from PSO.

He said PSO itself sold out kerosene oil and jet fuel in private market.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case for two weeks.
