ISLAMABAD: Utility Allowance (UA) of Supreme Court (SC) employees has been increased by 100 percent. Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) has accorded approval to enhancement in utility allowance. The order related to enhancement in UA will be applicable from July 01, 2026. According to media reports, UA of employees from grade 1 to 6 has been increased from Rs 6000 to Rs 12000, grade 7 to 10 from Rs 8000 to Rs 16000, grade 11 to 15 from Rs 10000 to Rs 20000, grade –16 officers from Rs 12000 to Rs 24000, grade 17 officers from Rs 15000 to Rs 30000. Like wise UA of grade 18 officers has been enhanced from Rs 18000 to Rs 36000, grade 19 officers from Rs 21000 to Rs 42000, grade 20 officers from Rs 24000 to Rs 48000 and UA of officers of grade 21 and above has been raised from Rs 30000 to Rs 60000.
