PESHAWAR: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the University of Agriculture Peshawar and Akora Seeds Company. The MoU aims to award 4 students of the University of Agriculture Peshawar with scholarships. MoU signing ceremony was presided over by Prof. Dr. Jehan Bakht, Vice-Chancellor of The University of Agriculture Peshawar at the University. Prof. Dr. Jehan Bakht, Vice-Chancellor of The University of Agriculture Peshawar and Mr. Muhammad Sadique of Akora Seeds Company signed the MoU. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Jehan Bakht signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Akora Seeds Company for Awards of Scholarships to four students of M.Sc (Hons). The ceremony was attended by Dean, Faculty of Crop Production Sciences, Prof. Dr. Iftikhar Hussain Khalil, Director Financial Aid and Development Dr. Asad Ullah, Deputy Director P&D Mr. Mian Daud., Assistant Director FAD Mr. Habib Ullah Tariq. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jehan Bakht while welcoming the officials of the Akora Seeds Company (ASC) said that The University of Agriculture is playing a significant role in the development of agriculture and livestock, The University of Agriculture has always promoted priority quality education, research and training. Our students are performing their services in the province, country, and abroad, he added. Mr. Muhammad Sadique thanked the Vice Chancellor and his team and expressed hope that these scholarships will bring maximum benefits to the students of the University of Agriculture Peshawar.
