Vice Chancellors, Teachers & Religious Scholars Visited Fort Balahisar

Peshawar: Vice-chancellors, educators and religious scholars from various universities and colleges across Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Swat and Dir districts convened at Balahisar Fort in Peshawar. The delegation paid homage at the Martyrs Memorial, laid wreath and offered fateha. Inspector General Frontier Corps North, Major General Noor Wali Khan, extended a warm welcome to the delegation. In his address, he emphasized the pivotal role of education in fostering development and prosperity. Major General Noor Wali Khan underscored the collective responsibility of society, including parents and educators, to promote both religious and secular education. He highlighted the importance of religious scholars in combating terrorism by imparting accurate understanding of Islamic teachings, ensuring youth are shielded from misinterpretations leading to un-Islamic practices. The delegation commended the Frontier Corps North’s efforts in fostering peace and development in KPK and presented constructive suggestions for further advancement. Our Correspondent
