BANNU: A girl was killed and nine others, mostly women, were injured when a wall of the house in Mirakkel area, District Bannu collapsed suddenly during a wedding ceremony, Police Control Bannu confirmed the incident. Giving details about the incident, when contacted, an official of the Bannu control said that the wall of the house collapsed during the wedding ceremony, killing a girl and nine others, including women, were injured in Mirakkel village. He said, soon after the incident, the officials of the Rescue 1122 and Police rushed on the spot and started a rescue operation with the local people by shifting the injured persons, with most of them women, to District Headquarter Hospital, Bannu. The injured, he said, are being shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Bannu for medical treatment and doctor confirmed the death of a girl. About the incident, he said, it took place at the wedding ceremony of a man named Yasir in Malik Ada Mirakkel area. He said the condition of the other injured women was stable. APP
