Peshawar(PR):On the directions of Chief Executive Pesco Anwar Ul Haq Yousafzai drive against illegal use of electricity is in full swing throughout the Province.In this connection Pesco Wapda House Peshawar Surveillance team raided in different areas of Peshawar,Swat and Bannu Circles and nabbed 30 more illegal connections. According to details Pesco Surveillance team checked various premises in Chamkani sub division and nabbed 9 power stealers including tampered meters. Similarly during checking in the areas of Sarai Norang sub division 8 electricity stealers including direct tube well connections nabbed. Similarly during the checking in Samar Bagh sub division of Swat Circle 7 direct connections including 3 direct connections of tube wells. Pending units were also found in an industrial meter, while a defective meter was also removed and sent to laboratory of a crush machine. Similarly 3 slow meters were found a domestic connection was nabbed using for commercial purpose.
Drive against illegal use of electricity and direct hooks will continue, PESCO has once again warned to stop power pilferage in the larger interest of the nation, due to which PESCO has to face financial losses & line losses on one hand and on the other hand PESCO’s whole distribution system gets over loaded and the general public faces inconvenience of frequent power break downs.
