Water boats inaugurated in Raghan Dam

Provincial Minister for Zakat, Usher, Social Welfare and Women Empowerment, Anwar Zeb Khan inaugurated water boats in Raghan Dam, district Bajaur on Sunday.
Besides local elites and PTI workers, a large number of tourists also attended the inaugural ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, the provincial minister said that water boats in the dam would be allowed under safety measures. It would be strictly monitored and no one would be allowed to board these boats without wearing life-jackets.
He said that a team of the Rescue 1122 will also remain present to avert any unpleasant incident in the dam and while police have also been deployed to take action against the violators.
Anwar Zeb Khan expressed the hope that tourists from all parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will visit the dam and generate employment opportunities for the locals.
He said that for the facilitation of tourists, construction work on a big park, restaurant and chairlift is in progress and will be completed soon. He said the incumbent government is making utmost efforts for promotion of tourism in the province.
