Law minister Farogh Nasim while announcing to hold population census has said government is going to conduct new population census through modern technology.
“ Sindh and Balochistan have demanded for conducting population census again. Now they are politicking on population census issue, he said this while addressing a press conference along with parliamentary secretary here Friday.
While explaining position on Kulbhushan case and international court for justice review bill, he said those who have opposed the bill have perhaps not read the bill. Those who have opposed bill after reading it are enemy of Pakistan.
He went on to say Nawaz Sharif government had decided not to give counselor access. India resorted to international court for justice after counselor access was not given to them.
He indicated that Pakistan defended Kulbhushan case strongly in international court of justice. India had requested for acquittal of Kulbhushan. International court of justice rejected Indian plea for acquittal of Kulbhushan but accepted the plea for providing counselor access.
The international court of justice asked to give right to seek review against the decision of military court besides providing counselor access, he pointed out.
He stated 34 bills were passed in joint session of the parliament. The opposition tried to create hindrances. The joint session is legal and constitutional.
He underscored Kulbhushan issue is national security issue. This matter is redline. You are parliamentarian of what type who don’t know about the national interest. We inherited Kulbhushan case. Pakistan has won Kulbhushan case.
Pakistan is not Banana republic. Pakistan is responsible state, he remarked. Pakistan has amputated the hands of India through strategy. Opposition is playing politics on Kulbhushan matter. If opposition is doing this even after knowing all then it is dangerous thing, he added.
