ISLAMABAD : Former Prime Minister (PM) and PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said our reaction will come on the arrest of Shahbaz Sharif and “we will have to render the sacrifice of our resignations.
Talking to a private TV channel he said Tuesday that our and Nawaz Sharif narrative is one and government is scared of opposition.
He held Shahbaz Sharif was arrested after reference was filed against him. Issuing warrants against him was purposeless.
He pointed out Nawaz Sharif has spent 70 days under remand and another notice has been sent to me from NAB for appearance a day before.
NAB sent notice to me on misuse of powers, he remarked. Shahbaz Sharif has been arrested and I may be arrested too after him.
About future strategy of opposition he said public meetings will be held for two months and then we will go to streets. Our reaction will come and we will have to render sacrifice of our resignations.
Responding to a question he said 70 percent cabinet members don’t pay tax or pay nominal tax. The payment of additional expenses of cabinet members is made out of corruption money.
On one side they say that they have nothing to do with NAB and on the other side they say they will hold all accountable.
Judge Arshid Malik said the decision was got taken from him by blackmailing him, he indicated.
