Westminster International School and Westminster Academy Islamabad proudly hosted the highly anticipated Food Festival’ 2025 on November 28, 2025, at the H-8 Campus. This year’s festival was a grand celebration that blended cultural diversity, culinary excellence and the true spirit of community. With the presence of honourable Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting, Barrister Mr Danyal Chaudhry, veteran TV celebrity Ms Ayesha Khan, CEO Westminster School, Mr Raheel Sajjad Khan, and Principal Westminster Bahria Town Campus, Ms Shagun Irfan, along with the over 7,000 attendees from the Twin Cities, including several dignitaries and diplomat; the event quickly became a melting pot of global flavours, vibrant cultures and unity. The festival showcased an exceptional range of international and local cuisines, offering guests the opportunity to savour a truly global dining experience. Alongside the culinary delights, live musical and cultural performances added a rhythmic and colourful touch, celebrating the harmony and creativity that Westminster champions. For children, interactive entertainment zones provided fun-filled activities and games, ensuring that young minds remained engaged throughout the event.
Adding an academic flair to the festivities, over 70 student-led PowerPoint presentations were showcased, highlighting the global research and learning undertaken by Westminster’s students. The Primary Year students further contributed to the celebration by participating in a Cultural Walk, proudly donning traditional attire from the countries they had studied, thus bringing their lessons to life. The event also included awards for outstanding presentations, recognising the creativity and academic effort of students across grade levels. As always, the Food Festival 2025 served not only as an enjoyable community event but also as a platform for Westminster’s continued commitment to charity, with all proceeds from ticket sales and the game stalls being directed to charitable causes. This year’s festival proved to be an unforgettable evening, filled with culture, food, laughter and purpose, reflecting Westminster’s dedication to education, community and social responsibility.
