Foreign Minister (FM) Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said every member has been elected by dignified people and he is bound to take decision to the dictates of one’s conscience.

“What is going on in Sindh House it is against the spirit of charter of democracy. Those creating uncertain situation in the country in their lust for power should review their decision, he said this in his statement here Friday.

He held “ the expectations made by the voters of your constituencies from you while electing you will have to be kept in mind before taking any decision.
Today 90s politics is being repeated, he said adding charter of democracy was brought against this pattern of politics. Certain principles were spelt out in charter of democracy. What is going on in Sindh House now a days runs contrary to the charter of democracy, he remarked.

I don’t support the plea of imposition of governor rule in Sindh, he observed. Today political committee is going to meet under PM Imran Khan. I will present my view point therein keeping in view the past experiences.
He observed hosting the 48th session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers (CFMs) is a matter of honor for Pakistan adding the visit of OIC foreign ministers will further improve the prestige of Pakistan.
The Foreign Minister said that stoking political instability at this critical juncture by the opposition is not appropriate and it must revisit its decisions.
We made two major achievements in 47th session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers (CFMs), he said adding one big success was that we convinced them Pakistan will host next session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers and the second success was adoption of consensus resolution to deal with the growing tendency of Islamophobia. We sent this resolution to UN and it has been passed in the General Assembly (GA) of UN.

He hinted that foreign ministers of member countries of OIC are coming to Pakistan and they will attend 76th Pakistan day parade.

He underlined India has not given any satisfactory reply regarding alleged accidental missile fire. Afghanistan situation is before all of us. Oil prices are going up due to escalating tension in Ukraine. This will lead to put pressure on economy. Creating uncertain situation in these circumstances is neither in the interest of democracy nor economy and people of Pakistan.

Those who are creating uncertain situation in the country in lust for power should review their decision, he held.
