Islamabad High Court (IHC) has announced important decision about the Fate of the cases withdrawn from Accountability Court (ACs).
While releasing the decision in the case of Adam Amin Chaudhry, Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani and Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir remarked Saturday that withdrawal of reference against any accused from accountability court does not mean acquittal of the accused.
The court further remarked the references can be shifted from Accountability court to other courts.
IHC further remarked in its land mark decision no concept of only returning the case to NAB is there in law.
The court remarked NAB should extend every possible help to Accountability courts to shift the cases to other courts.
IHC has said in its decision NAB can file supplementary reference with the permission of accountability court on coming to light new facts. Orders have been issued for freezing the accounts. The new respective courts can quash the orders.
