PESHAWAR
Excise Intelligence Bureau on Friday claimed to have arrested two suspects, including a woman, on charges of supplying drugs.
According to an official statement, the arrest has been made on the direction of Hasanullah, Secretary Excise Department, and Akmal Khan Khattak, Director General Excise.
The Excise officials during the operation recovered 1000 grams of high quality ice and arrested two persons, including a woman.
The operation was conducted under the supervision of Syed Naveed Jamal, Provincial In-charge Excise Intelligence Bureau.
The alleged arrested persons attempted to smuggle drugs in a passenger vehicle near Ring Road Park Motorway.
The arrested persons have been identified as Rehman Gul and a lady, the residents of Peshawar.
A case was registered in police station Excise Peshawar region and investigation has been launched.
