Jhelum: A woman in Jhelum district of Punjab killed her three daughters and later set herself on fire, it emerged Saturday. According to media reports, woman slit the throats of her three daughters and subsequently set herself on fire on Saturday in Haranpur village. The police identified the deceased children as five-year-old Zoya, four-year-old Faiza, and three-year-old Jannat. The woman, who was identified as Yasmeen, suffered severe burns and has been shifted to a hospital in critical condition. The police further added that the woman’s husband Faiz Ahmed was a rickshaw driver. Further investigation into the incident was underway. ONLINE
