Women’s Badminton and Table Tennis Summer Camp has started

Women’s Badminton and Table Tennis Summer Training Camp organized by Directorate General Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa got under way at hilly resort Abbottabad wherein 25 girls each age between 16-21 are taking part.
This was stated by Director Female Games Rashida Ghaznavi said that all arrangements have been made for accommodation for 50 girls and eight coaches, four female and male coaches of badminton and four female and male coaches of table tennis are concerned.
Supervised by Director Sports Rashida Ghaznavi, the U21 winner of Abbottabad and runners-up Peshawar, and the winner of the U16 talent hunt in Charsadda are participating in the badminton camp.
In badminton, head coach Bushra, Hayatullah and Faraz are imparting training and coaching to the players while table tennis coaches Amina, Saira and Absar Ali will give training and coaching, she said.
Director Sports Rashida Ghaznavi said that like boys, girls are also being given opportunities to improve their skills in the summer training camp. She said 25 badminton players and 25 girls are participating in table tennis in the summer training camp.
There will be growth and they will be able to win honors for the province at the provincial and national levels. She said that girls are being provided equal opportunities in all sports as directed by Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan and Sports Minister Atif Khan.
She said all our facilities would be given to the players. On the other hand, the officials of Badminton and Table Tennis Associations have welcomed the summer training camp organized by the Directorate General Sports and said that it will improve the skills of the girls, the girls will progress from the camp and they will perform better.
