Governor-KP announces jobs for three differently-abled women graduates of the varsity
Women’s University Mardan first convocation
MARDAN
Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa presided over the first convocation of the Women’s University Mardan on Friday.
Addressing the students, Haji Gulam Ali said that development of the country is linked with empowering women; adding that prosperity of the society without equipping women with education would not be possible.
Governor appreciated three disabled girls for completing their education from the university with distinctions.
“I pay salute to the girl who successfully completed her education and today I awarded her degree,” he maintained.
Governor Haji Gulam Ali also announced jobs for three disabled graduates of the women’s university.
He said that after completing their education from the university, the second journey of the graduates started. Keep your struggle continuing and serve the society.
Daughters are very dear to their parents, like success in the field of education, they should be proud of their parents in practical life as well, Ghulam Ali added.
The Governor maintained that as Chancellor, my real happiness is that as soon as the students graduate from the universities, they get jobs immediately.
He urged that the universities should maintain close links with industry and focus should be made on female students’ education and research in new fields of study.
Vice chancellors have to understand the reasons for the difference in quality of education in public and private universities, Haji Ghulam Ali added.
The government is ensuring the provision of resources and facilities, but we all have to do our part honestly.
Haji Ghulam Ali congratulated the management and faculty for the overall performance of Women’s University Mardan.
Undoubtedly, Women’s University Mardan has shown excellent academic performance in a short period of time, Haji Ghulam Ali added.
