WSSP Kohat recently started work on special project to solve the long-standing sewerage problem on Kohat-Hangu road. Under this project drains comprising of about 2 Km will be repaired. Despite repeated cleaning and maintenance, the problem of sewerage would persist especially the roads, shops and even houses were flooded in the rainy season. Due to such situation the traffic and the pedestrians had to face a lot of problems in the stagnant rainy water.
Now the restoration and repair work of Hangu road has been started and it is expected that after the completion of this project this long standing problem of drainage will be solved. It is also said that the encroachment on the drains of the said Hangu road will also be removed.
