Athlete Irshad Kohati has started a 550-kilometre run from Karak to Lahore to promote peace, brotherhood, unity and sports.
Despite the challenges, he has pledged to complete the journey in four days.
According to the Karak district administration on Thursday, Kohati began the unique journey to highlight the importance of sports and encourage harmony, unity and positive activities among people.
The district administration also extended support to the athlete. On the directives of the Deputy Commissioner Karak, the District Sports Office provided him with a sports kit to help him continue his journey.
Meanwhile, Assistant Commissioner Takhti Nasrati Shamimullah met Kohati and appreciated his determination and efforts.
Kohati’s ambitious attempt to cover 550 kilometres in just four days is not only a test of physical endurance but also an effort to spread the message of peace, brotherhood and the promotion of sports.
